But Kurapika hit the nail on the head with the actual correct answer. There was no right answer, as Leorio figured out. Anything else offered as an answer would disqualify you. Who do you choose?’ You were given ten seconds to answer, with the only possible choices of answer 1 or 2 (1 for the son, 2 for the daughter). Your son or your daughter/ Your mother or your lover. The question ‘You can only chose one to save. Oh, but before even that, there was this one utterly BRILLIANT quiz moment thing. With the first arc, it was the Hunter Exam, and that was pretty awesome. I think that’s what I like most about it =) Here, Gon wants to find his dad, Killua’s bored (gotta love that guy!), Kurapika wants revenge, and Leorio wants to earn enough money so he can become a doctor.)Īlthough it’s from a genre I generally hate and just avoid as it’s too boring, sometimes repulsive, and just not my thing, I can’t drop it! It’s hooked me with the strategies, and the amount of thought that is needed in each episode, by each character to overcome each obstacle. Where Gon meets his friends for life, Kurapika, Leorio, and even Killua =3 I found this beginning very similar to the approach done by the Naruto Manga, where you’re thrown into an exam that the main characters need to pass to accomplish their dreams, for various reasons or not-so various reasons (in Naruto, everyone wants to pass the exam to become a ninja =3 although the why is still a bit sketchy in my head, it’s all similar. ^This picture is from the first arc, the one with the Hunter Exam. Sooo I was recommended some anime (Gintama, Bleach, and nichijou), so I decided to start off with Hunter x Hunter =D (recommended to me by Darke) He smiles, and then they played the ending song. (They weren’t even silhouettes you could actually see their clothes designs, color, hair, all that.) But most excitingly of all was whom they showed approaching the Zodiac- one of them himself. The last scene too- where all the Zodiac gathered- you were shown the backs of a bunch of them we haven’t been introduced to yet. I don’t know why, but that was my instant response to seeing Killua like that. And it made me think instantly that he’s going to use his family reputation, or contacts to try and save Gon. Yay for him! I loved how determined he was ❤ Buuut, that dead look in his eye when he looked at the Hide and Seek guy was the same as the time when he was disqualified from the HxH exam in the last stage. Killua has decided that he’s going to make Gon apologize for once! And he also put the situation into perspective. I think their friendship just progressed a huuuge step. I loved how the M_ dude (the guy with the smoke, and sunglasses) literally ran, leaving his IV behind, to try and tell Gon and Killua of this. Her hair is even pretty similar to his, except her bangs, and the color, of course. That girl- the one the Queen died giving birth to- rejects her own name, and insists she’s “Kite” WHILE swinging a katana like sword. The creators tied up their loose ends perfectly, and I commend them for it ^_^ It was so touuuching ❤ Such a pleasant way to end that tragedy. Her mom accepted her, and didn’t call her a monster. I knew that little chimera ant was Reina, I just knew it~ But I was actually shedding tears when she was embraced by her mom. They ended that story about Kurt and Reina. The hints, the character they reveal at the end, Killua and Gon, KITE, that ultra sad chimera ant story with the brother Kurt and Reina-chan’s ENDING- jsldkgjhalsdfkjslkjldfjlskj *-* Juuust saw the HxH’s most recent episode.
